Your Care Providers
Dr Steve Holmes
Steve is a caring procedural (Obstetrics) Rural Doctor with over 40 years of clinical experience. In addition to his private General Practice, he also works as the Chief Advisor in Obstetrics for Country Health SA. He is an enthusiastic medical educator and believes undergraduate and post graduate teaching keeps the practice up to date as well as being able to pass on valuable skills to the next generation of young doctors.
As well as having a keen sense of humour, Steve has a deep commitment to addressing the problems of rural medicine- workforce shortage, professional isolation and preventing the general decline in provision of health services to rural communities.
Dr Jeremy Nichol
Dr Nichol originates from Ottawa Canada, and on seeking a warmer climate, completed a postgraduate medical degree at Brisbane University.
Jeremy has found rural medicine to be diverse and interesting and enjoys the extra challenges that are part of country practice. He has a jovial affable manner and enjoys learning and teaching and has had extensive training in psychology.
He enjoys staying active with swimming and cycling as particular areas of interest.
Dr Kasi Strojek - Visiting
Dr Strojek graduated in 2004 from Jagellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Upon settling in Australia in 2006, she worked at Modbury Hospital. She has spent the last 8 years working in Clare, in private practice and at the hospital. Kasia’s interests lie in emergency care, women’s, children’s health, Shared antenatal care, lactation problems and preventative medicine. She enjoys gardening and long walks. Kasia is a very skilled, thorough, and caring doctor.
Dr Soheila Mahmoudi
Dr Mahmoudi joined our practice in 2021 and is currently on the RACGP Fellowship Pathway. Dr Mahmoudi has a special interest in dermatology.
Dr Cameron Lau
Dr Lau joined our practice in 2025 and is an ACCRM Registrar with a particular interest in Paediatric Medicine.
